Elycia Eberlein

Elycia Eberlein, a Colorado cowgirl, was crowned the 2008 Boulder County Livestock Show and Rodeo Queen.  Keeping our western heritage alive in a modern world, as well as preserving the American sport of rodeo, are important goals to Elycia.  She achieves this by educating and promoting these interests to the community as Boulder County Rodeo Queen.   Elycia still finds time to fulfill her passion of barrel racing with her horse "Playboy".  She also enjoys reading, cooking, family, and anything that involves horses and the outdoors.  She is currently attending Longmont High School.  She plans to study equine science and ranch management at CSU and eventually own and operate a cattle and horse ranch.
